Attracting Your Future Through Hypnosis and Vision-Boarding

Hypnosis helps clear a path to the subconscious, though which you may access Spirit (guides, angels, your soul, the Divine) and thus tune into your deepest desires and intentions for this incarnation. Once you know what you want, you can reprogram the subconscious with the new beliefs and images of your desires. The subconscious can be used also to visualize the future and the means to get yourself there.

Vision-boarding, based on the work of John Assaraf and Joyce Schwarz, takes the old technique of collage-making to new dimensions. As a vision-boarder , you will enter into the electromagnetic field of your creation to deepen the connection to what you want. A virtual dialogue emerges between the you and your creation, one in which you can also perceive through the "perspective" of your handiwork, itself. The vision board is ongoing, never quite complete, and dynamic, always changing with the twists and turns that arise during the unfolding of the vision. The materials you will work with may also add touch, sight, smell, sound and even taste to help concretize your vision.

We will start the workshop with hypnosis designed to deepen your awareness of what you want. After doing exercises clarifying your vision in one particular area of your life, we will move into the creation of the vision-boards. We will do a number of hypnotic exercises with these boards and also some exercises where group members in dyads will help each other see deeper into the vision-board matrix for additional insights about the contours of their visions.

Participants may be asked to do some written work prior to the workshop to help them focus on their visions.

WHAT TO BRING: Pillow, blanket, chair-back (I have pillows and some chairbacks), pad,
pen, and a bag lunch (there is no time to go out for lunch).

Also, bring scissors and as many different magazines, catalogs, etc., as you can, which you are willing to share and cut up. Bring anything else relevant to your vision which can be glued onto your vision board. You may also bring any scents (in vials), any music (on players equipped with earbuds or earphones), and anything to taste--all of which you think might relate to your vision.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:

Food: bagels, tea, instant coffee, orange juice, jam, cream cheese in the morning; fruit, nuts, cookies for an afternoon snack.

Materials: Foam or poster board, crayons, markers, glue (a few glue guns) and whatever else I find that would be useful to you.
