about this process.

"During [these] periods of relaxation after concentrated intellectual activity, the intuitive mind seems to take over and can produce the sudden clarifying insights which give so much joy and delight. "

   - Fritjof Capra

"…It is important to keep in perspective that there are many valuable uses of regression to experiences that are not associated with major difficulties. "

- Randall Churchill, Regression Hypnotherapy

Recovering Lost Items

Session Information | Requirements Suggested Reading

This service is not always successful because the object may have been destroyed or moved since it was lost, or the client may have an unconscious motivation NOT to find the object (e.g., a person’s not wanting to find a wedding ring may reflect problems in the marriage, a situation which, if discovered, may require deeper hypnosis for resolution.)

The process is very detailed-oriented, both in the intake interview and in the hypnosis itself. The keys are to have the client visualize the object in its every aspect and then to visualize in a Regression every relevant action the client took with the object when he or she last had it; the resulting collection of such details may “pop” the image of the location into the conscious mind of the client. So that the client’s energy is focused on visualization, her or his communication with the hypnotherapist is usually, though not always, done with finger signals.
