In December, the monthly Explorations Circle completed another set of three sessions with wonderful success. Among the activities that we experienced were 1) watching an episode of Star Trek Voyager as an ethical dilemma story involving an involuntary hybridization of two Voyager crew members, 2) making finger labyrinths from a "seed" and using them for giving readings to each other, and 3) engaging in our annual Holiday Potlatch and doing a modification of A.R.E.'s Henry Reed's group divination process.
The vast majority of those who attended the last set of three sessions have signed up for the next set. There are only a very few spaces left!
So, if you want to join, NOW is the time to do so. No previous experience is necessary for admission into the Circle. However, you will need to have a brief chat with Joe to ensure that this Circle will meet your needs.
As I noted in the first announcement about the Circle, a particular experience with "otherness" on Memorial Day, 2007 (see my brief essay below) gave me the impetus to start the process.

Greetings, Soul Journeyer!!
It is time for a fresh look at who you are this time around. One way to do that is to experience a past-life regression in a setting with supportive, fellow-journeyers.
What you will be seeking is one of two general possibilities:
1) patterns in a past life that are unconsciously and negatively programming aspects of your current incarnation or
2) patterns of positive functioning in a past life that may not have been fully available for use in the current life.
In the first situation, the goal is to bring the dysfunctional patterns to consciousness, change the beliefs underlying them, and then take action in this life according to the modified beliefs. In the second situation, the goal is to make the positive functioning of the past life fully accessible to this one.

Crystal Skull Reading Process
For divination purposes, I use either an opaque or translucent skull. After activating and programming the skulls before the session, I ground and protect and cleanse myself. Once the session begins, I suggest that the client ask his or her Higher Self for permission to do this work. I request the same permission from my Higher Self. Then I ask the client who is in a light trance state to ask his or her Higher Self to furnish each question; when he or she receives it, the client writes down the question on a card, folds the card, and, if the client is in the room with me, hands the folded card to me. If the client is on the phone or on Skype, the client simply keeps it in his or her hand. (In either case, I do not see the question until after I make the preliminary reading.) The client next chooses the skull to work with if he or she has not already done so.
With opaque skulls, I use the shamanic technique of “rock divinationâ€; this involves asking my Higher self and that of the client to focus my awareness on a particular pattern or part of a pattern on the rock’s surface and then to direct my interpretation. Only after I give the preliminary interpretation do I open the folded card, read the question and then refine my interpretation. With translucent skulls, I look into the skull at various depths and am guided by our Higher Selves to detect and interpret an interior pattern formed by inclusions, etc.; or I may see moving or static scenes relevant to the client’s question. Another way to get messages is for me, after proper preparation, to gaze into the eye sockets of the skull, go into a deeper trance, and hear/see important telepathic messages. As when working with the opaque skulls, I do not look at the client’s question until after I give a preliminary reading. Still another method with either translucent or opaque skulls is for me to make the usual preparations and then direct the skull, on behalf of the client’s question, to make contact with the crystal skull grid or energy field, to which all skulls are connected and contribute their particular wisdom. A final process is to use the skull, after proper preparations, as a portal to other sources of wisdom, including guides/angels who may be using the skulls to communicate.

Yin Yoga utilizes floor poses held for 3-5 minutes each in order to modestly, within limits, stimulate ligaments through tugging and compressing joint tissue. Moreover, Yin Yoga is contemplative by nature; thus, the gentle but consistent stimulation to the connective tissues encourages long-term health and flexibility, not only to the joints, but also to the nervous system, naturally drawing the mind inward into a calm, relaxed and meditative state. This 90-minute introductory hypnotherapy session includes a 15-minute intake interview, 60 minutes of Sacred Space hypnosis, and a 15-minute debrief of the experience. This is especially useful to individuals new to hypnosis and perhaps unsure of committing to a more in-depth hypnotherapy process.
The intake interview, aided by what the client wrote on his/her intake form, allows the hypnosis to be tailored to the client’s needs.
In the Sacred Space hypnosis, the client will go to a special place provided by the client’s subconscious. In this place, the client might meet a part of her/his psyche that needs expression or an archetypal figure like the Ideal Parent, the Wise Old Woman/Man, the Lover, the Inner Child, etc. It is also a place where meetings can take place with someone who has passed over, or with someone currently living. In this venue, the client may get answers to pressing questions or dilemmas arising from within or from without with other individuals.
The debrief of this experience helps integrate the results with the client’s ongoing life. It may also make clear other work that may be done in other and longer hypnotherapy sessions.

What Are Crystal Skulls?
Let's start with what they are not--they are NOT the macabre, the horrific, the emblematic symbol of death! Quite the contrary, they suggest the fact of immortality: the clear quartz that many skulls are carved from seems eternal because it was formed many millions of years ago. In its incalculable vastness, the human heart reflects a Wisdom beyond the mind's usual comprehension. Especially when it is restricted by substantially limiting beliefs, the mind may even declare that there is nothing more to hear or see there in the heart--it is simply a red blank!
Yet, when the mind allows itself to relax beyond the fear that grips it when it believes that it is alone and vulnerable to unimaginable threats, it can discover an amazing resource that will soothe it and set it on its proper mission to be a clear focus for the individual's mission in three-dimensional life.
When Grandmother Moon encouraged Dolphin to swim to the rhythm of her "tide-weaving," Dolphin learned to breathe in a new way and thus entered the Dreamtime, a reality different from the seas Dolphin had swum in. In like manner, learning to breathe in a new rhythm will take us into the realm of the Dreamtime, the Deep Heart.
So, in this workshop we will first focus on our breathing to relax body and mind from the strictures we often hold them in, to learn how to both let go and receive and accept. We will also use Solfeggio Frequencies and sounds from Crystal Bowls to enhance heart-opening. Moreover, the use of Noetigenic Healing, created by Tim Simmerman, will help us touch our gratitude and appreciation for ourselves as a resource for helping ourselves and others.
Then we begin the first of three primary foci of the day, all of which will evoke the radical wisdom of the heart. This wisdom is radical, not only because it is often "outside-the-box," outside the mainstream thinking of the mind, but also because it derives from the root, the core of who we are as profoundly spiritual beings.
1. The first focus is making connection with the sometimes lost, often neglected Inner Child, who, when embraced properly, says Alchemical Hypnotherapist David Quigley, leads us to the radical wisdom resources of the heart.
2. The second focus, working with Colin Tipping's notion of Radical Forgiveness, opens the heart still further by removing major blockages to acknowledging how we create our own reality and learnings.

DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP:
Used by every culture for thousands of years, Divination is the art and practice of discerning probable futures and probing the present reality for its deeper significance. Many cultures have been highly dependent on their diviners to guide them through the unknown. The Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Babylonians, Egyptians, Celts, Tibetans and Native Americans and other indigenous cultures like the Naskapi from Labrador are among those cultures preeminent in divination practice.
There are innumerable methods for divination, including, but certainly not limited to, scrying (using shells, smoke, mirrors, clouds, water, oil, wax, crystals, etc.), dowsing (using pendulums and forked sticks), card decks like the various Tarots, numerology, oracles and mediums and psychics, the Quija Board, astrology, automatic writing, tea leaves, animal (and human) entrails, muscle reading, omens, remote viewing, sortilege or the casting of lots (including runes and I Ching sticks or coins), shamanic journeying, and hypnotic modalities (including future progression). The workshop will begin with a brief check-in and then a short discussion of the nature, sources and kinds of divination, as well as guidelines for practice.
